* The College is accredited
by NAAC with a 2.90 CGPA at "B" Grade.

* The College has received financial assistance of Rs. 23.73,100/- for Women's
Hostel Special Scheme under 10th Plan of UGC.

* The College has been granted an Authorized Training Centre for SCOPE (Society
for Creation of Opportunity through Proficie-ncy in English) by the Government
of Gujarat.

* The College has been granted an Authorized Training Centre for Gujarat
Knowledge Society, by the Government of Gujarat.

* The College has received a grant of Rs. 2.5 lakhs from the Government of
Gujarat for the English Language Laboratory.

* Presented a research paper, Natural resource management
(GIS & GPS
Technology) at the international level Seminar held by Department of Philosophy
Gujarat University, Ahmedabad on 7th - 8th January, 2011.

2) Smt. Parul Sindha has been awarded the M. Phil. Degree in Computer Science
by the Sardar Patel University, VVNagar on 12-7-2010. |

Department Activities |
(1) Department of Computer Science and BCA organized a One Day Seminar for the
students on 10th January, 2011 under the Career and Counselling Cell of the
college under the UGC Scheme for providing better job and career prospects. |
(2) An invited talk on Job Prospectus & Career options for Computer Science
students by Dr. D. B. Choksi, Head, P.G. Department of Computer Science, S. P.
University, VVNagar was arranged on 7th January, 2011. |
(3) The Computer Science & BCA Department had organized various IT related
competitions named MINDWAR-2011 on 10th January, 2011. There were 238
participants. |
