Departmental Activities
 * Department has organized one day industrial tour on 28th Sept 2010, to Ankleshwar, and visited "Ankleshwar Research and Analytical Infrastructure Limited" and "Bharuch Eco-Aquva Infrastructure Limited".
* On World AIDS day i.e. 1st Dec. 2010, Microbiology Department organized "AIDS Awareness Rally" in the college, where all the S.Y.B.Sc. and T.Y.B.Sc. students participated. On the same day department organized poster and slogan competitions related to HIV-AIDS. Both the competitions were sponsored by NACO project from Shri Krishna Hospital Karamsad.
Teacher's Activities
*Dr. R. R. Panchal and Dr. K. N. Rajput have delivered live talk on "Microbial Nutritions" at Bhaskarachrya Institute for Space Applications and Geoinformatics (BISAG) on 28th Sept., 2010 organized by Department of Higher Education, Government of Gujarat, Gandhinagar.
* Dr. R. R. Panchal was appointed as External referee for assessment and Viva voce of M.Phil. thesis and for the assessment and Viva voce of M.Sc. Microbiology Sem. - IV Dissertation report by Gujarat Vidyapith, Ahmedabad. Appointed as Examiner at M.Sc. Biotechnology by Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, Surat. Appointed as Paper setter and Examiner at T.Y.B.Sc. by Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, Surat and Bhavnagar University, Bhavnagar.
* Mr. P. C. Gandhi served as Programme Officer of College NSS unit. Appointed as Paper setter and Examiner at T.Y.B.Sc. by Gujarat University, Ahmedabad and Bhavnagar University, Bhavnagar.
* Mr. H. R. Bhatty was appointed as paper setter and examiner in Medical Microbiology and Immunology course at T.Y.B.Sc. by Bhavnagar University and Gujarat Vidhypith, Ahmedabad. Appointed as panel selectors for Zonal level Chess team of Sardar Patel University. Served as convener of Youth Festival Programme at the college level.
* Mr. H. R. Bhatty and Mrs. Dipika Modiyani served as member of discipline, eligibility committee and venue in charge in intercollegiate "Swarnim Gujarat youth festival" of Sardar Patel University from 4th to 6th Oct. 2010.
* Dr. B. D. Trivedi worked as co-ordinator of Kala Kaushalya Dhara and worked as co-ordinator of Swarnim Gujarat Celebration. Working as Counsellor of Girls Hostel of the college.
* Mr. Umang Bharucha presented a poster on "Invitro evaluation of indigenous Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria isolated from Alfalfa (Medicago Sativa L.) under the section Plant Genomics and Agriculture Biotechnolgy and was awarded the best Poster Award at 7th International Conference on Genomic Sciences 2010 organized by Biotech Research Society of India at Madurai Kamraj University, Madurai on 12-14th Nov. 2010.
* Mr. A. M. Patel participated in State level UGC Sponsored Seminar on "Inovative approaches in Biological Sciences; Recent perspectives" at J & J Science College, Nadiad on 3rd Jan. 2011. Appointed as Examiner at S.Y.B.Sc. by Gujarat University, Ahmedabad.
