ACHIEVEMENTS OF THE
COLLEGE
* The College is accredited
by NAAC with a 2.90 CGPA at "B" Grade.

* The College has received financial assistance of Rs. 23.73,100/- for Women's
Hostel Special Scheme under 10th Plan of UGC.

* The College has been granted an Authorized Training Centre for SCOPE (Society
for Creation of Opportunity through Proficie-ncy in English) by the Government
of Gujarat.

* The College has been granted an Authorized Training Centre for Gujarat
Knowledge Society, by the Government of Gujarat.
----------------------------------------
* The College has received a grant of Rs. 2.5 lakhs from the Government of
Gujarat for the English Language Laboratory.

* Dr. H. J. Shah, Lecturer, Biochemistry Department has been awarded a Major
Research Project worth Rs. 10,72,800 by the UGC.

NSS Activities: |
|
National Service Scheme programme
for the year 2010-2011 started on a good note. Due to the enormous success of
the annual camp in the previous year this year the programme saw an influx of
many enthusiastic students. The programme registerd 251 students for this
academic year. the programme officers Dr. Manish Mapara, Mr. Pankaj Gandhi and
Mrs. Monika Shah geared up for a very active and hectic year ahead. In the
current year many activities were carried out under this programme. They are:

National Blind Day
Aids awareness

* During the academic year 2010-11, total 78 students were
enrolled for NCC actiivity. These studnets have actively participated in Parade,
Weapon training, Map Reading, First Aid and other activities of NCC. |

* During the Combined Annual Training Camp held at Thamana, Cadet Patel Dhruvit
of First Year B. Sc. won "Overall Best Cadet" and "Best in Drill" Trophy, and in
cultural program Cadet Joel George won trophy in Song Competiton and Cadet Patel
Yash won trophy in Dance competition in cultural activity. |

* In the NCC "B" Certificate Examination total 32 cadets appeared and in the "C"
certificate examination total 11 cadets appeared. The result of both the bavoe
exams is 100%which is matter of pride for the college. |

* The cadets have also participated actively in activities
like Tree Plantation, Pulse Polio Vaccination, Blood Donation etc. |
